Penang

My mum is actually quite a random person I realised.
Out of the blue, she thought of driving up to Penang for a 3 days 2 nights vacation.
My boy came along with me.
Afterall, he's leaving to the States soon at that time.
So this is going to be the last holiday we will get to spend together for another 2 years to come.

Since it was a last min thing and it was during peak season,
most of the hotels in Penang were all fully booked.
Luckily in the end, we found one, G-Hotel =D

Day 1

Lobby
Got an excutive suite since it was the only available choice.
Forgot to take pic of the executive lounge cuz I was busy eating the complimentary icecream they gave us =P

Their travel guide I think. I cant remember edi =O

I dunno how to categorize it =_=
Got biscuits, mochi..

And it sucks >.<

Living Room
My boy and I slept on the L-shaped couch since the bedroom was full edi.
The couch was very comfortable to be honest =P
Even my mum said, "Eh, sleep in the living room oso not bad a XD"
We've got the whole tv to ourselves, watched movies till late night

See through toilet.
Even with the curtains down, u can still see inside.
But of cuz, they do provide a place for u to shower.

Bedroom.
Only ordered one extra bed for my two lil cousins to share cuz the space was pretty limited.

Since we're staying in Executive Suite, we were allowed to have our breakfast either at the executive lounge or the cafe at lobby.

We chose to go to the Executive Lounge for the first day.

Turns out, they only provide very limited choices of food.

The view was not bad tho =P

After breakfast, we went sight seeing!

Supposed to climb up to the pagoda but they closed the main entrance =_=
Forgot wat was the reason edi.

So we went to see the newly built Guan Yin statue instead.
Not fully completed yet during that time.

The fishes there were swimming in circles! =O

今天突然间很想看星座运程
就上网google

有一篇是这么写的:

其实在我看到这个星座分析的时候有一点被吓到也许是因为这一篇令我想起了很多很多我不愿触碰的回忆即使已经快一年了但面对那些回忆我还是会害怕虽然有时候我可以轻描淡写地说起但我总不敢去尝试想起一切我不爱解释而正因为这样有时候要付出的代价并不小这是必然的也许有时候自己认为是对的是好的也不见得别人一定会认同我觉得我欠你一个解释可能对你而言已经无所谓了但对我来说到了现在我还是希望有一天可以有机会亲口和你说一声对不起

Eventho the portion of the food wasnt thatt big but we both felt damn full after that.
Shud be because of the mash potatoes =_=
Overall, the dinner was betta than my expectations because there were quite a number of reviews online said that they were pretty disappointed with the food.

Oh, and I was damn fascinated that Zipangu gave discount to the total of the bill by adding up your birthday figures (lolz jacoon XD)

For example,

so it will be
2+0+1+0+1+1 = 5

which means u'll get 5% discount!

and whoever has the highest discount percentage ( u can count everyone's birthday), u just pass your IC to the waiter and they will give you the discount according to the calculation.

Haha and the birthday boy's birthdate got the highest discount lolz!

Im sooo tempted to continue on my overdue posts.

But, seeing that this is the first post of Year 2010,

I shall blog about something newer

and continue my last yr's posts another day haha =P

2010

I started the year by sending the person I love off to the airport,

see him walking into the gate and be miles apart from me.

so, the boyfriend flew to Urbana Champaign, Illinois =(

leaving me behind

And Im still trying my best to get used to it >.<

For the past 3 years, he had been by my side,

accompanying me whenever I need him,

I can call him anytime of the day,

See him whenever I want to.

But now,

with the time diff, distance and all,

everything's going to be so different.

No one's going to watch 3 movies in a day with me.

No one's there to depend on anymore for decisions.

No one to talk to on the phone during midnight.

well, I guess Im on my own till he comes back.

Anyhow,

Im finally done with my UK unis applications.

Just hope that everything will turn out fine

then 8 mths later,

I'll be able to be a tad closer to you.

From 14 hrs time diff to 6 hrs makes lots of diff k! XD

Had an early bday celebration with baby, K-Yin, Wei Hoh, Nick Yang, Fiona and Brian.

The initial plan was to have dinner at Quattro but when we reached there, we found out that there was Hennessy Artistry.

Baby : I know Hennessy Artistry's gonna be in Quattro but I didnt know it was today

NickYang : I know Hennessy Artistry is today but I didnt know its in Quattro

XD

So we ended up going to

39 Restaurant

Its called the 39 Restaurant because its located on the 39th floor.

The food there is not worth the price.
Since the food was quite pricey, baby and me shared.
We ordered the one with rice cuz we thought that it would at least be more filling.

the rice was the size of a golf ball and the waiter told us,

Li Hong's Farewell Party

Li Hong had actually left Malaysia to Melbourne like almost a week ago and only now Im blogging bout her farewell party. Blame it on my midterms and assignments =X

This woman that I've known for yrs is finally getting her freedom. Freed from her controlling parents =O

As I was updating the farewell pics, a sudden nostalgic feeling hit me.
Cuz they were ppl that I hang out with throughout my whole secondary school life.

5 days of CNY just passed like that.

Somehow this year I dont feel as festive as previous years.

I think almost everyone feels the same.

Anyways time for some updates!

First day and Second day of CNY I was back in Perak to my dad's side.
No pics cuz I didnt want to look like Im showing off my camera. You dont have to understand what I mean by that =P

I finally came back to KL on the third day.
Went to Chingy's hse to gamble. First I won, then I lost. Should have just cabut with the 200 bucks! *tsk tsk*

I will update bout this on a diff post cuz Im still waiting for Ching Mun to come on9 so I can get the pics from her camera XD

On the fourth day, my whole family went for an early dinner around 5 30pm at Overseas Restaurant in Jalan Imbi KL. The 7pm session was all fully booked.

Went for HELP's Business Party last nite at Apartment Downtown KLCC.

Was asked by Li Hong to be one of her model for the fashion show that nite.
Bah.. And I screwed it up quite badly.
Apparently everyone said almost all the models walked too fast and they didnt have time to snapped a nice pic of us =X

How do u define good friends?

Those that understands u well? Those that are fun to be around with? Those that be with u thru all ur hardest time? Those that listens to all ur problems? Or those that will help u no matter what?

To me, a good fren is someone that u'll feel most comfortable around with, understanding and can be talked to.

Some frens that I have, dont think before they act or even think b4 they speak. They think that hey u're my fren and they assume u wont be angry over it. And some just never understands the position/situation Im in which in another word not understanding at all.

I used to think that all my frens are so important to me. They still are as important as it used to be. But now its just certain ones. U guys noe who u are.

All I could said is that I went thru so much with my boy and not just a few sentence can tear us apart. In fact, if he wasnt my bf he would be my bestest fren. Because during the time that everyone doubted my truthfulness, he was the only one that didnt turn his back on me. He gave me all the support he could. When no one wanted to believe wat I said, he was the only one that was willing to listen.

He may not be the best bf ever but u noe no one is perfect.
When u're looking at his flaws, u're also showing ur own ones.

I dont effing care wheta u gonna hate me after seeing this. And Im not blogging bout this because I think Oh Im so perfect therefore I can start judging bout others. I noe Im not perfect either. Maybe u can list out my flaws all night long.

But sometimes,
pls dont cross ur line. Being a good fren is not like that u noe?
Sometimes, its not just one sentence saying, u noe la he/she is memang like that wan la then u expect me to forget.

Had buffet with my family and my boy last Wed.
The food was so-so.
The taste wasnt really up to my expectation. But they do provide quite alot of choices.
Quite dissappointed lo cuz Shangri-La supposed to be one of the luxurious hotel in KL so I had this mindset that the food's gonna be nice.

The oysters here not fresh >.<

I surveyed bout this place on9 and every single review I read was good either about the food or the ambience so I kinda look forward to have the dinner there.

It was quite jam on the way to KL. My boy wasnt in a good mood. Add up to that, I dropped by Pavilion's Armani Exchange to pick up my boy's present, wasted 8 bucks for the damn parking and in the end they told me the 1U staff called the wrong place. I supposed to go to KLCC =.= I was so effing pissed.

Anyhow, since I can only get the prezzie tmr we headed off to dinner.

My boy was horrified cuz he tot that we were supposed to have our dinner at some place that looks like mamak cuz he couldnt spot the restaurant. Lolz!

I had Pink Lemonade.
The person told me that they imported this from France.
My boy had white wine instead.

Pan Seared Foie Gras.
Omg this is my first time trying Foie Gras.
Seriously damn nice!
No smell or anything. Just very soft =D

Escargot with garlic.
This tasted quite nice oso but then I dont really like so I only ate one.

Main Course

Cod Fish something something.
Aiya the name too long to remember XD
Apparently the sauce was nice and it covers up the fish smell.

Duck Confit something.
This one I dont really like cuz it was abit too salty. EXCEPT for the potatoes and bacons underneath the duck was nice XD

Desserts

According to all the reviews, they said the hot chocolate cake with ice cream is the best but then I felt abit full for chocolate cakes so I never get to try =(

My boy had this Creme Brulee. Damn smooth lo. Very nice =D

I had Tiramisu!
My all time favourite. It got quite strong liquor taste. I like but its a tad too bitter.

At first we wanted to eat in a muffin shop Fifi suggested but K-Yin wanted to eat prawn.

This yr's celebration was diff from last yr's.
I didnt had the bday dinner with my boy alone but with my whole family instead.

He said,

We got separated into two tables =(

This was my second visit.

They changed their menu for the Ramadhan month, the food didnt taste as good as the first time I went there.

Actually there were more food at the back but I was lazy to walk there to take pic =P

Part I

Genting Trip

I experienced alot of my first time during this trip XD

Let me list em down.

1. FIRST stay over trip with my frens. Of cuz exclude those expeditions back in school where u got teachers to accompany u along.

2. FIRST holiday with my boyfriend.

3. FIRST unplanned holiday. Went Genting without room reservation and it was a Saturday! Imagine u only have two choice. Either u get a room or u sleep at the lobby XD

4. FIRST time I felt so overjoyed cuz we got a room. HAHAHA we all actually tot no hope liao cuz every single hotel in Genting full house edi. We even surveyed which hotel sofas are nicer to sleep in XD According to Sueanne, Highland Hotel's sofas very comfortable =P

5. My FIRST time walking around Genting just to find a room. We went from
First World -> Theme Park -> Resort Hotel -> Genting Hotel -> Highlands Hotel and we continued this process again and again just to try our luck.

6. FIRST time sleeping in a room with a freaking low ceiling. Damn. I bang my head on the ceiling 3 times and the first time I bang so hard that MY SCALP DENTED wtf. AND I AM NOT EVEN TALL! The guys or Swee Ying oso never kena and they all like wat? Half a head taller than me? Maybe Im the only stupid one that will actually stand up on the bed XD LOLZ!

7. For the FIRST time I wanted to bath longer in the bathroom. Seriously. Normally if I stay in hotel I bath faster than usual wan =P But the Resort Hotel's toilet eventho its small, its very comfortable inside. All of us took our time to bath =P

8. FIRST time in my life I actually slept in a room with so many people snoring at the same time! =_= Muahaha now I noe who snores when they sleep =P

Life in college?

A2 Finals coming real soon and everyone's studying their ass off.

This week is the last week of seeing my classmates before study leave.

The next time I see them will be during exams and after that I'll have to say bye bye to all of them edi.

Its pretty depressing tho.

I always felt like A-Levels just started not long ago and now it has come to an end.

I guess 1 and a half yr is just not a very long time =\

I'll definitely miss PB1 =(

Went 1U today to watch Malaysian Dreamgirl Grand Finale with my bf.

Wanted to see whether those girls are pretty in real life like in pictures.

The event started at 8pm instead of 6:30pm like stated in the website. =\

I took quite a number pictures of them but cant see their faces properly cuz I was standing at the second floor

According to Swee Ying they all,

one of the lift at Mr Mohan's (my Econs tuition tcher) apartment's kinda haunted.

They have quite a few experiences and it freaked me out when I listened to their story.

Like the lift suddenly black out and they feel weird and stuff

And
This is my version XD

Today Pam, John and me had our tuition at Mr Mohan's house.

Apparently Pam and John were late and I was all alone.

Dilemma. Thinking whether I should go up myself or not.

In the end, I went up all by myself using another lift.

So everything was alright till the end of tuition.

I insisted that I WILL NOT take the haunted one but no matter how hard I tried to open other lift's door but the blardy haunted lift is still open. Like as if its asking u to go in =X
Then this John being so "brave" said we should just that the haunted lift and go down.

Then something funny happened =\

He stepped in half way the lift closed and I screamed. Really loud.

Then this John faster come out of the lift said that I really scared him hehe =P

But

In the end

We still took the haunted lift and made it down safely XD

So Swee Ying ar.. nothing to be scared about le AS LONG AS u got a few ppl with u =D

I hate cockroaches.

And I'll at least encounter one of them each nite before I sleep.

I screamed like nobody's business and ran back downstairs
But I need to sleep so I decided to close my eyes and pretend that its not there
But IT IS THERE! I cant pretend. =\ Im afraid that it will suddenly fly =\

Yes instead of walking properly up the stairs like any normal human would do, I chose to climb up the stairs from the side, holding on to the railing just to avoid the stupid cockroach.

Sounds like Im being so kua cheong over a small insect rite?

Knew her since Form 4 when she got transferred to Cempaka from Assunta.
I still remember the first time I saw u was during PE. Li Hong intro me to u cuz we're supposed to be in the same class. We didnt get along too well in the beginning and so u found other ppl to hang out with instead.
I cant really remember how come we got closer in the end but we just did. Then only we realised we got quite alot things in common eh? Hehe..
U always help me do my make up for proms, lend me ur IC to clubs, fetch me here and there. Know u very nice la =P

Anyways, 19 liao.. OLD ZHAR BO!! =P =P But eventho u're old edi i'll still love u o.O damn geli ahahaha!

Got to know her outside the class asking me whether we are at the right place.
My first impression of her was she's damn si man.. Like those studious type of girl..
But day after day when I got to know her more I finally realised my perception was wrong all this while =P
